With Spring right around the corner and the sun beginning to peak through the clouds it's the perfect time to get out of the house and come to one of our fun events!

Join us on St. Patrick's day for a special Beer and Food pairing Social! We'll be sipping and learning from nine different artisan brewers - and tasting savory bites to compliment each brew. And don't be surprised when the Seattle Fireman's Pipe and Drum Corps marches through the Ballroom doors for a special appearance!

Event is Tuesday, March 17th 5 - 8pm and tickets can be purchased by calling Christy at 206.448.2001 or at christinal@tomdouglas.com for $35.00/person + tax.

Participating Brewers include:

Rogue, Scuttlebutt, Maritime, Boundary Bay, Pike, Hale's, Baron, Georgetown and Big Al's!

WINE PRESS CLUB

A very special Wine Press Club on March 23rd.

In honor of Washington Wine Month our monthly wine tasting will feature 10 luminary Washington winemakers. Their winemaking styles are diverse and collectively will showcase the tremendous range of viticultural accomplishments in our state. Each winemaker will pour 1 wine. Participating wineries are:

Fall Line, Isenhower, Balboa, Nicolas Cole, Cavatappi, Mark Ryan, Ross Andrew, Camaraderie, Sparkman and Buty.

The March tasting will take place at Palace Ballroom at the corner of 5th and Lenora. Time is 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Reservations are required, please call Katie at 206-448-2001 or email her at katieo@tomdouglas.com.
The cost for this tasting is $20.00 plus tax.

The Wine Press Club is an educational consumer forum that meets once a month with a revolving focus on all aspects of wine enjoyment. Attending one of our events qualifies you for a no charge membership to the club. Membership benefits are a very cute ID card that entitles members to a 15% discount at all of our restaurants, a monthly newsletter and priority reservations at an annual harvest dinner in Washington wine country.

Tom is working on perfecting the formula for a brand new Rub with Love Smoky Barbecue Rub that will capture the traditional American barbecue flavors of sweet, hot, smoky, and spicy. Meanwhile, try this recipe with either Rub with Love Steak Rub or Rub with Love Pork Rub.
